Ahmedabad: Serious incidents of accidents are coming to light frequently in the city of Ahmedabad including the whole of Gujarat, in which mostly the carelessness of vehicle drivers and ignorance of traffic rules are responsible. So, to bring public awareness on this matter, a traffic awareness rally was organized by the well-known Seventh Day Adventist Arts and Science College in Khokhra area of Ahmedabad along with Ahmedabad “I” Division Traffic Police
The program was organised in the esteemed presence of President of Seventh Day Adventist Arts and Science College, Dr. G. Immanuel. He was accompanied by Vice President of the Institute, Mr. Ramesh Anumulu, Principal of the college, Dr. G. Packiaraj, Ruling Party Leader Gaurangbhai Prajapati, Councilor Mr. Kamleshbhai, General Minister of Ruling Party Mahendrabhai Patel, Former Councilor Mr. Mahendrabhai J Patel, Administrator of the College, Mrs Mayurika Patel, NCC Coordinator Nirav Patel and NSS Coordinator Poonam Darjee. He addressed the college Students, NCC-NSS Group, college Professors and entire Staff present in the program to create awareness about traffic rules.
Seventh Day College Professor, Dr. Ankita Shah made the students take an oath to follow the road safety and traffic rules and make the people aware of the same. A large number of students of the college, Professors, NCC-NSS group members and entire staff of the Seventh Day Organization participated enthusiastically in the rally.
All the members present in this rally did a noble and excellent job to create public awareness about road safety and traffic rules by using banners, posters, pamphlets, and other signs in hand to convey information about traffic rules to people.
The Road safety & Traffic awareness program was a huge success under constant guidance & motivation of Dr. G. Immanuel and management of Mr. Ramesh Anumulu, Mrs. Mayurika Patel, Dr. G. Packiaraj, Ms. Poonam Darji, Dr. Muriel Fernandez & Dr. Ankita Shah.
