Gujarat High Court captain and opener Rutvik Modi’s all-rounder performance and Rolesh Kodekar’s lethal bowling helped the Gujarat High Court win the match against the Karnataka High Court in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Gujarat High Court won the toss and elected to bat first. In which team captain Rutvik Modi and Jagat gave a strong start to the team by batting very aggressively. Jagat hit 41 off just 19 balls with 2 sixes and 5 boundaries in T20 style. On the other hand, Captain Rutvik Modi played an adventurous innings. In which he scored 80 off 94 balls with the help of 10 boundaries. After the brilliant performance of opener Rutvik Modi and Jagat, with the help of Vaibhav 33 and Kushal Bhandari 31 runs, Gujarat High Court batted first and scored a huge 237 runs for 9 wickets at the end of 35 overs. From the Karnataka High Court Advocates team, Arvind Reddy took three wickets for 53 runs and Shivshankar 41 and Rajesh 29 runs for 3-3.
On the other hand, chasing the huge score of 237 runs given by the Gujarat High Court, the Karnataka High Court team batted poorly and were all out for 158 runs in just 28.2 overs. The Gujarat High Court Advocates team won by 79 runs. From the Karnataka High Court, Afzal Khan scored 41 off 40 balls and Tejas Muralitharan 41 off 37 balls. Gujarat High Court captain Rutvik Modi also gave a superb performance in bowling after batting. He took a crucial 3 wickets for 32 runs in 7 overs in his bowling spell. On the basis of which Captain Rutvik Modi was declared Man of the Match. Experienced off-spin bowler Rolesh Kodekar from Gujarat High Court bowled a lethal delivery, giving up just 20 runs in 7 overs to take 3 wickets. Another player Rashmi Kant Tamaiche also gave victory to the 2 wicket fast team. In the previous match, Gujarat High Court had won by 109 runs against Tamil Nadu High Court.
